This Fitness Gear Will Make You Love Planks
The Stealth Core Trainer works your core while letting you play a game
Anyone who's ever told you playing games on your phone was a waste of time has never tried this fitness gear. The Stealth Core Trainer forces you to hold a plank on a balance board-like
piece of equipment. Add your phone and a free app to the mix, and it
becomes an interactive fitness game that makes you sweat bullets,
torches your entire core, and leaves your arms feeling like jelly.
Here's how this board gives you a tough workout: Place your phone on
the rectangular section in the middle with the Stealth app open on the
screen. It's slightly lower than the board's surface so your phone stays
in place once you start moving. The app counts you down to plank game
time. Once the game starts, you constantly have to adjust your position
to hit the targets on the screen—shift your weight to the left or to the
right and hold specific angles to stay in the game. You can go through
it as fast as you want but the true challenge is how well you maintain
clean plank form. It'll feel like hell for a few minutes, but it'll be
more fun than you've ever had with this exercise.

The trainer does more than merely give you a new alternative to a
